Well, as much as you can. lol
Since I started working, my skin has decided it hates me. I've never had super smooth skin but it wasn't so..lumpy? They aren't surface pimples, but just bumpy. Does that make sense? Some little red spots, some just bumps, etc.
I wash my face every day and use a face cream. Neither are top quality or anything but they were seemingly fine before I started working.
Any recommendations? ETA: I have combo skin. Sometimes it's super oily and other times (most times) it is super dry.
@bigtowlittletoe those look like they'd feel nice as well.
Not abrasive at all. Like rubbing velvet on your skin, and you can use whatever soap/solution you prefer. Amazingly, it does the job. Smooths out rough spots and cleans out the pores and makes them tiny.
You can look into oil cleansing. A friend of mine does it and swears by it. I use castle soap (Dr Bronner) and I LOVE it on my face. It's gentle and not nearly as drying as anything else I've tried.

I'm going to play hooky from work one day and walk around your store, yelling COCKATIEL like it's goddamn Marco Polo.
LOL
My sister does something similar when we are out shopping. She'll start singing "MMMM...Bop!" (from Hanson) at the top of her lungs, and follows the sounds of my snort-laughs to find me.
TrickyBob, my skin does this every year or a couple of times a year. I have no idea what causes it, either. Not sure if it helps, but I use Aveeno's Daily Skin Brightening Scrub once a week or so (my skin is getting really dry as I age) and Oil of Olay. Hope your skin straightens out soon!

I have been using the stride pads for my wonderful adult acne too. They seem to work better than anything else I have tried so far. I am going to have to get one of the scrubbies though.
