We went out to lunch today at work and I drove since I have a minivan. My female coworker (who has 3 kids mind you) got in an complained about how messy the interior of my car is. I mean, she has 3 kids so she should know that they are messy. And well, with a van, there's more room to make a mess! Ha. I have extra clothes for W (hoodie, tshirt, longsleeve t and pants), a few extra diapers and a little foldover changing pad, some snacks, some books, a toy or 2, and a blanket. I'll admit, they are kind of thrown on the floor in front of his seat and on the floor of the first row of seats.
Do you keep your vehicle neat and organized.... or is it a mess? (I'm kind of asking to make myself feel better about the condition of my car, lol!)
Total mess. I was doing a good job cleaning it out every week before baby but haven't had a chance to do it lately and it's too hot. I've got extra clothes, some books, bottle water, a couple gifts, extra blankets for baby/ ergo. Plus a couple take out drink cups
My main issue is I take what I need or may need for the day out with me but then I'm usually wrangling hungry/tired/crying kids by the time were home and can't carry it all back in. Then I forget to go get it later

The car we drive most is a mess. There's usually Kix, cheerios, coffee mugs, daycare daily report sheets, my construction site gear, wet ones wipes, among other things strewn about. The trunk currently holds H's golf clubs and a couple pairs of my shoes. Random.
the only reason it doesn't appear that someone lives in our vehicles is that H cleans them regularly.
I am pretty clean, but vehicles are like my black hole.
That is very Un-Minnesotan of her to say such a thing to your face

Lol it's bad. When I'm not living in between two houses it's not too terrible, but I keep putting stuff in there at the old house and forgetting to take it out at the new house. Also, the babies dumped a considerable amount of animal crackers all over the car at soccer practice today.
Mine is so clean right now! DH cleaned it for me last month and I love it. I've been making an active effort to remove excess items from the car (and wrappers, parking slips, etc) and it's really made a difference.
Well, I have one square basket to hold all of the toys/books that is wedged between the front and back seat. I have an extra diaper bag in my trunk with extra clothes, wipes, diapers and toys/activities for the restaurant. I would say I am to be organized but I left today's empty coffee cup in there and dishes my mom sent back to me 4 days ago. There's also random snacks in the floor that get picked up/vacuumed once a week. So while I could quickly tidy it up if someone is going to get in, I'd say I'm an organized mess. Lol.
Oh gosh. The car I drove before my new one. Bad. Like I wouldn't let anyone else drive with me out of fear of embarrassment. My new car is mostly very clean because it was part of the deal I made to my H, lol.
Secret snowflake. I get really frustrated when "my" car gets messy, but that's inevitable when we have a rental that's we're stuffed into. I do try to clean rentals out at least once a day, but so much shit still collects. I'm scared of ever owning a car because I suspect my husband would be a huge car slob.
I'm always a little embarrassed when I return a rental, and there's a crushed cracker/dried milk forensic outline of the carseat (like a chalk body!).
It's quite messy. There's always a leftover Starbucks cup in one of the cup holders, wrappers stuffed into random compartments, misc stuff strewn about. My husband is a clean car freak and he's mortified!

Both cars are pretty clean...there are a few toys in the Jeep, but nothing in the Mazda. I'm sure you could find a stray fruit snack or goldfish cracker tucked away in the car seat, or on the floor .
Total disaster. Toys, napkins, crumbs, dirt. I never volunteer to drive for work lunches, I use the car seat as an excuse. Between the kid and the dogs I just gave up.
Mine isn't bad - my dad was a clean car stickler so that has probably rubbed off.
I do keep a car bag w wipes, diapers, change of clothes, snacks, toys, etc by L's car seat - I try to vacuum it out weekly but it could use a good scrub down cleaning
