I'm in a pretty good place today. I'm seeing great results on the scale and my energy levels have been good considering all the things I have going on in my life right now. I've really been reflecting on how my habits have changed for the better. I really feel hungry, I don't have cravings, I feel better while exercising, and my clothes fit great.

Day 9!
I am feeling good about eating this way but sort of pondering how to add treats back in once I am done. Like I spent some time on Pinterest looking up Paleo baking. I don't ever want to go back to eating everything in sight, but I would like add back in honey and maple syrup and be able to enjoy some sweet treats. However, there are three weeks standing between me and that even being an option!
I am maybe getting a little bit sick of eggs. I got paid today, so I am going to hit the grocery store and come up with some alternatives.
i am on day 40-something and we are eating whole 30/paleo the majority of the week. well, i am. i don't know what my husband eats at work. i do have lactose free half and half for my coffee but that is the only dairy i will have regularly. it is still a pain in the ass to have no convenience foods around, but i do feel so much better. i think i'm going to start doing the wambam method of cooking, even though i really dislike leftovers (specifically, reheated meat.) i'm really surprised by how much i don't have a desire for processed food.

I am really picky about reheated meat, too. I pretty much only like it if it is in a sauce or a roast (chicken in salsa, pot roast, carnitas). Otherwise it is dry and tends to taste gamey.
I overindulged far too much over the weekend (my first post-W30 weekend) and it was my birthday and I could totally tell the difference, so it's back to much more of the 80/20 now.

Day 18
I am feeling great, I think I finally kicked the snacky all the time habit. I am focusing on 3 meals and IF I really need something I will have a snack with protein, fat and veggies, however this week has been busy and I haven't really needed the snack.
Day 4. I was starving yesterday when I got home from work but easily avoided the cheese and crackers and instead had a hard boiled egg and fruit. It's nice to not have that constant internal battle over food.
I had my first meal out this morning for a weekly professional group I'm in. I ordered two scrambled eggs with salsa with fresh tomatoes and bacon. The bacon was not compliant I'm sure but I decided it was not the worst thing.
Last night I will say I really missed Parmesan cheese on my spaghetti squash with meat sauce last night. I love parm

Day 4 here, and so far so good. My roast last night was really tough - I think it was the meat itself, I've made roast plenty of times before - so that was disappointing, but otherwise I have enjoyed the variety of food I've cooked this week. DH is being supportive, and didn't even make fun of my black coffee this morning. My only temptation so far was yesterday afternoon at Target, when I let DS pick out a treat from Starbucks and he got pumpkin bread. It smelled so good, but I did not taste it.
