I am excited to see this! I am sure it will be " made for tv" in resolution and execution but man! As a SAHM with a DH that is out of state Monday thru Thursday, I really want the acknowledgement;). Any opinions?

The first time I saw the commercial tonight it had a line that said something like "When the women leave, how will the men keep it together" or some nonsense.
Please. I'm a SAHM too, but my H is perfectly capable of taking care of the house and children. And he's a military man so he's gone all kinds of odd hours, sometimes completely gone for weeks, months, years at a time. Still, he's a grown-ass-man, not some tween being left home alone for the first time. He knows being a SAHParent is no cake walk, but he could totally do it. Probably not the same way I would, but with results just as good.
Of course it's Lifetime so, yea, right up their alley I guess.

Agreed that DH could do it, and I Am particularly curious to see the dads handle the parenting. That aside it is shot in a town of about a 1,000 and 100 women leave. It is set up like only one gender exists and that is a pretty curious thought altogether. It has also been shot all over the world already.

I just think it sounds stupid and like one gender is being an AW boo-hooing about how under-appreciated they are in the town.
I'm from a town of 1,000. If the women left, the men would say "hey, what do you know, even though it's 2012, women still do the majority of the housework and child-rearing." If the men left, the women would say "hey, what do you know, even though it's 2012, men still do the majority of the farming." Woah. Let's all be appreciative of each other's roles!

They had this idea on a show in Canada. It was less about "how do we do women's work?" and more about bonding with the kids, etc. sort of like wife swap.
