I noticed a lot of people do an extra rinse after the wash/rinse. Can you explain why?

Make sure you get the soap out, as it causes diapers to repel/leak/smell

ditto. With that many layers of fabric in the diapers, the normal rinse usually isn't enough.

I've been able to drop the extra rinse since switching to soap nuts.
Love them.
