Why are denim jackets back in style?

There was one pregnant girl that would wear denim overalls. I don't even think denim overalls were popular back then.

I wouldn't know what to wear a denim jacket with. Pairing it with jeans gives the impression of a Canadian tuxedo, and I don't wear khakis.

I have a denim jacket with a thick lining that I wear pretty much all through fall and winter. I don't care if it's not fashionable; I love it.

But I live in farm country so I can get away with things like that.
