We rented a beach house with DH's family for a week right outside of Chalrlston, we leave Friday. The forecast right now calls for rain every.single.day. Not chance of afternoon showers but a 60-80% chance or rain.
Can someone please tell me if this is normal this time of year and we were idiots to plan a beach vacation there this time of year? Or is it just common to rain part of the day but we should still get some good weather?

Used to live in SC, NC, and have spent lots of time in Charleston. Just because the forecast says rain doesn't mean it will rain all day, everyday. You should still be able to get beach time and outdoor time in. One word of the wise though....if you are downtown, don't park on the East Bay end of the city market (by the Custom House and Noisy Oyster). That area WILL flood in a short heavy rain.
