Marathon in 3 weeks, i feel so completely underprepared , ive been half assing training. I blew off the first (of three) 20 milers, my mileage has been pretty low overall and my running has sucked. Its been a tough summer.
So i just got back from my 2nd and last 20. Im only 10 seconds off per mile than my fastest from the spring, and its humid as hell out today (i came back drenched and my pinky toe has a blister on it thats as big as the toe!). Id say bring on the taper, but thats been this whole training cycle.mso much for a pr
I had a cycle like that for my 2nd marathon. It sucked. I was sick all the time, and sick for the race. 26 minute pr So taper well my friend! You still may see some ass kicking come race day! I'd always rather be a little under than a little over. 2 20s is still pretty trained .
