I'm not sure if I'll do the plunge to 100% whole30, but I've spent a month eating limited hospital cafeteria food 3 meals a day and need to get back to my regular diet once I'm home. I usually eat pretty "clean" but thought I might concentrate even more on it.
I'm not 100% vegetarian but I don't eat red meat or pork and prefer to only eat chicken or fish when I order out. I also lift and right now for protein even though it's not clean I usually do a smoothie with protein powder and greek yogurt or a protein bar after I work out to get in some extra protein and calories. I also sometimes do a soy burger for protein. All of those I know are not whole30 compliant.
So are there any whole30 options for extra protein? I eat plenty of eggs.
You can eat chicken, fish and eggs . You don't have to eat red meat. I'm sure you can get enough protein from just chicken, eggs and fish. There's no rule that says you must eat red meat.
Also, you could totally get away with just chicken (and maybe turkey for variety?) and fish. You would be eating it every day, so that may be a change for you, but you could easily do it. I would eat as many different types of fish as possible for a complete nutrient profile.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I only prefer to eat meat, chicken and fish, when I go out for dinner, which is only 1 time per week. I try to eat vegetarian at home, so I was wondering about other protein sources for at home. But if I must eat chicken at home for protein then I will, just prefer not to and was looking for other ideas for whole30 protein sources.

Thanks for the links. I'll check out the forum for more ideas too.
I guess I'll probably just start incorporating fish and chicken in to my diet at home, especially on lifting days. I'll probably start eating legumes more regular too. Forgot about those.
