DD's new favorite song in "I Will Never Let you Down" by Rita Ora and it's cracking me the heck up. She demands to listen to it 10x in a row the moment we get into the car and sings along. Definitely a nice break from all the Lion King and Sound of Music we typically listen to!

Waiting until 8:30 so I can call and set up my first OB appointment.
Our van wouldn't start yesterday and we had to get it towed back home. So now we are down to 1 car until Thursday when we have time to tow it to the shop.

This morning was like a Japanese game show up in here. Andrew has an alphabet puzzle that he's obsessed with. For some reason, the F was missing. He was obsessive and maniacal about finding it. Nothing would get in his way until it was found. He was whining and crying and getting all up in my face to find it for him. The problem? I had to poop. Bad. I was racing the clock to find this stupid F piece before I needed a pants person. I looked in all the couch cushions, got on my hands and knees to look under all the furniture, and FINALLY found it at the bottom of the toy box. I made it to the bathroom in time, but it was almost a photo finish.
Henry went to bed last night super excited about one of his top teeth coming out - a dollar coming from the tooth fairy! A cool hole that a straw fits through!
He woke up in tears because he wants his tooth back ( for unknown reasons ). He moped about all morning and we have to write a letter to the Tooth Fairy tonight explaining his request . This is not his first lost tooth - no idea where this is coming from.
THE ANGST NEVER ENDS. 2 year old tantrums + bizarre 7 year old drama = ugh
Thad looked at DH last night, got in a three-point stance, and shouted, "Let's Play Exercise!" Then tackled him. This from my kid who the teachers always stress doesn't like to wrestle with the other boys.
He then proceeded to play "exercise" with dh for 45 minutes.
This morning he woke up, found me, snuggled for a hot second, then grabbed my face and hollered, "MOMMY LET"S PLAY EXERCISE!" 0_0
I'm actually really glad to be back to work and back to my routine. J was going insane without it. A is nuts right now, and I anticipate a horrible nap day. But I'm hoping by Thursday or so everything's back to normal.

I'm irrationally annoyed that my dad's friend on Facebook thinks F's a boy when she commented on F's weekly pics. She's wearing a purple flowery sleeper. DUH!
We're at the airport to go back to nyc for the week and there was so much traffic getting here. But thankfully we have a fancy credit card that seems to allow us to breeze through security and go into the Admiral's Club, which has a special kids room. And free breakfast.
I'm dreading the flight though. H said he would totally be in charge of Jamie, but I find that rather unlikely.

Lame! My office changed their prenatal appt schedule. They don't see patients until 8 weeks now. Boo. Only a 2 week difference from 3 years ago. I'll have my first appt and ultrasound on October 16th. Yay!
We got a bunch of shipment from last Christmas/winter from the other stores. It's sooooo cheap and I snapped up a few things for Carson! $8 for each of those shirts and $5 for the hat!

I'm home sick today. I have a nasty cold but last night I kept waking up feeling like I needed to puke. I'm laying on the couch while C plays with Mega Bloks. I hope he behaves today,

This morning Adam and I were talking about continents and I forget #7.... And he remembered. It was Australia, wow my 5 year old is smarter than me. Lol.

It would just be dreadful if your seat happened to be somewhere far away from the the two of them ...

Either my husband or my child moved my keys and I can't find them anywhere. After turning the house upside down I gave up and changed into walking clothes, got the kids bundled up and realized ths second seat is in the car.
My husband is on the way home with the extra set (don't get me started on why he takes a set of keys to my car with him every day) but now Alexander is napping so he's going to be miserable the whole way because the car seat is also a torture chamber in his eyes and Daniel is almost certain to fall asleep so nap this afternoon will likely suck.
How is it only 9:15, I feel like today has been three days long already.

I'm waiting to see if G's pedi wants to see him after his febrile seizure this weekend (see other thread.) I'm hoping it's just a virus that's made him sick, but it could always be those ears. Blahhh.
Normally he'd have school but I (obviously) kept him home since he is sick. I'm looking forward to a quiet day at home with him.

My weight is finally in another decade! I still have another one to go, but I have been in this decade before while not pregnant. I'm really hoping my work pants fit.

Awesome! I needed to read this today, I fell off the wagon this weekend for my vacation, this will help motivate me to get back on the wagon today.
Today is my first day back at work. It really hit me last night when I put the kids to bed and realized I wouldn't see them again until tonight (except for M's multiple middle of the night feeds).

So I had a super cute dress/outfit on and I forgot that it is team day for homecoming week. My h brought me a change of clothes so I could wear a t shirt and jeans.
I spilled coffee all down my front and I'm wearing a mainly white shirt. Normally I'd just power through, but I have a meeting this afternoon with people that will notice and judge my sloppy self. Guess who's running home at lunch time for a new shirt.

I had to leave the office and come work from home... I need to stay close to my toilet. Ugh. My head... my stomach... I just want to lay down. I see a nap in my future.
