Owl is a pretty normal 2 year old and I am in awe of her.
Yesterday the mental health worker wanted to observe us playing so we played with Owl's baby and then I picked her up and flipped her and spun her around and got her wound up, she smiled her big smile and giggled with her hands out showing she wanted more. When the worker left Owl got even more silly, cracking up to get my attention, throwing herself back on the couch, climbing and running on the couch, throwing toys, etc.
At dinner she ate all of her food, veggie coconut curry with barley, which had potatoes, something she usually pouches or refuses to chew.
Bedtime was normal except that she was cracking up as she gave me a hug and kiss and I laid her down in bed. Half an hour after I put her in bed I heard this loud thumping sound, I went to investigate and found that she had turned herself butt and feet toward the walk and was kicking the wall as hard as she could. She smiled when I walked in, she was still playing. I was annoyed that she wasn't going to sleep but had to laugh, this is such a huge change and she is finally acting her age.
