chili from a can? Because that's where I am. It's Trader Joes Turkey Chili and I bought the boxed cornbread mix to go with it. I'm hoping it does not taste like dog food.
No, not canned chili but mostly because my kids would hate it and be all whiney. When I say fuck it, it's either chicken nuggets for dinner (which is what we had last night) or leftovers. You know when there's not enough leftovers for a full meal? I feed the tiny servings to my kids, call it "snacky dinner" and they think it's a treat.

Lol, it's very funny you mention that, bc usually the answer would be no. BUT, last time I was pregnant tj's was serving the turkey chili with cornbread baked on top as the free sample. It was so freaking good I had to make it. I didn't realize it was canned chili until after I tried it.

Not chili, but I eat boxed mac and cheese more than a 28 year old should. And buy I buy the box kid box with shaped pasta because it totally tastes better than the elbow macaroni kind.
I'm more likely to buy two bowls of chili and a piece of premade cornbread at Whole Foods if I don't want to cook. To me, baking negates the "no cooking" aspect of the canned chili. (In fact, thank you for the idea - we have to be someplace at 7 and need a quick dinner.)
But I have tried Trader Joe's canned chili on their sample table, and it was actually pretty good.

Your siggie pic is hysterical with this post.
Your kids are like Chilli? From a CAN?
I am going to make it look like it's been simmering homemade on the stove all day. No one has to know a thing.
