It has potential. The pilot was a bit overkill of characters though. OC guy was awesome. I loved him on the OC.

I despised the way Gordon was written because it was lazy.  He was such a ridiculous stereotype, and overall I was actually disappointed with the show, especially as a serious fan. 

Jada Pinkett-Smith was everything, though.  She will be my James Spader - the real reason to watch an otherwise mediocre show.

I hate the current comic book TV show/movie trend and honestly, Batman is probably my least favorite of the comic book heroes, but I liked Gotham. I'm willing to see where it goes.

The writing, particularly the dialogue, was not impressive. But I love Ben McKenzie, so I'm hoping it gets better. I'll watch it for him, regardless.

I haven't watched second episode yet. H wasn't thrilled but was willing to give it a chance. I thought it was ok. Jada was awesome.
