When did you start feeding your baby eggs?

I was going to hold off for another month or even two, but my mom fed her eggs this past weekend.  LOL.

What is your experience?

6 or 7 months. We did not delay eggs. Easy protein.

Early on, like 7 or 8 months probably. Our pedi said we only had to wait past one year old for honey, nothing else. It was fine. He loves them.

6'ish months? No reason. That's just when we thought to offer them. Maybe earlier? Our pedi never warned us about eggs. No reaction.

I started introducing all the known allergens pretty early (6.5 months). Peanut butter, strawberries, eggs, etc. If you don't have a history of food allergies, I think new guidance is suggesting the earlier the better.

Maybe 7-8 months? I do think we started with just yolks the first time, and then pretty quickly moved on to the whole egg - we are too lazy to mess with separating eggs, and he LOVES them.

We have no history of food allergies in our family. The first time we tried them, we did it at home just in case. No problems.

Just recently. DD is 10 months. She loves them and it is a good and easy food for her to eat!

I don't remember - maybe 8-ish months? We weren't expressly avoiding them post-6 mos, we just weren't eating them much.

About 6-7 months. We don't eat a ton of meat so eggs were introduced early. Hard boiled eggs still remain one of his favorite foods. Also lmao @ pizza! I love it

We waited until 10-12 months to give him plain eggs because my nephew is allergic.

It sounds like she didn't have a reaction so I would keep feeding her eggs.

I delayed eggs a little bit because I have a lifelong egg allergy. But we still did them earlyish. 8 months or so with both girls.

We started at 8 months I believe. She had no issues with them. I just remember at her 9 month appt, the pedi said to wait until 1 year for eggs, and I was like, ughhhhh, we already did them! Oh well!

My pedi said that the rules had changed since DD1 (4y.o.) was born and that now the only thing to delay is honey until age 2.

Eggs, pizza, goldfish, uncrustables, whatever. Go for it.
