I am eating lunch at Barnes and Noble. An older man comes in, sits at the table next to mine. He takes out his laptop, then takes out this HUGE cord - looks like a cable cord, on steroids. He loops it around the table base several times, then through the handle of his briefcase, THEN through his chair. Finally he puts some sort of combination lock thing on the end of it, and hooks it up to his laptop. So, I imagine you have to enter the combination to unplug it from the laptop.
And he has been sitting there for 20 minutes or so, and hasn't even turned his laptop on.

You'd think if he was that nervous about someone stealing his laptop he wouldn't use in public. And weird that he went to all that trouble and hasn't turned it on.
