So what kind of differences did you guys encounter after child birth and getting your periods back?
I didn't have any real difference after M. I had the 2 somewhat intense periods the first 2 times and after that everything was as it had always been, no difference. Now after J though I have much more pms symptoms. Normally I get no cramps or anything, maybe a tiny bloating. But now I get all the moody/grumpiness. It's really bringing me down. I don't like being so mean and grumpy
I've always had heavy periodd, but not much in the way of PMS. Since my cycle returned (4mo pp, despite nursing every 2-3 hrs around the clock!), the first few days are heavier, but it's a little shorter overall.
I've also have pain (cramps, tenderness and sharp/stabbing/localized) before and during my period (cs-related) and cramping in my hips/inner thigh/low back just like in labor (may be cs-related endometriosis or fluid along the incision).

I only have the one kid, but I feel like it took two years to get my period back to what it felt like before pregnancy. I am sure your hormones are still all out of wack.
Mine were back to the same old shit about 7 mos pp with bjl. Cramps, and long/weird cycles. I haven't had a real period with the boy yet. I get extremely painfully crampy, a streak of pink when I wipe, and that's it. Twice so far.
My periods are worse now. But that might be bc I use the nuva ring and intentionally skip my period but for 4 times a year. So those are four bad ones.

This is kind of what I am hoping for, I really don't want this moodiness to be the new norm or else I'm going to be even more unhappy and unpleasant lol.
I think mine have been pretty much the same, fairly light, short, not terrible cramps. Except last week, which was between ovulation and my period, I was at work and suddenly got these awful, intense cramps, like early labor, that wouldn't go away, and I got super hot and sweaty and lightheaded. I've never had that happen before. I took advil and laid down for almost an hour and then I could walk again, but I had dull, but worse than normal, cramps for a couple days. It was weird.
um- i wanted to discuss this for forever! but it's so awkward. mine are so heavy after having babies! but, i don't get cramps, really.. or maybe i'm just way more tolerant?
