Was the sex of your baby readily apparent at your anatomy scan? (By this, I mean, could you and/or your H tell without the tech telling you?)
In both our anatomy scans, we instantly got extremely clear junk shots, and saw it several times throughout the u/s without her pointing it out. It seems like it would have been impossible to be Team Green, even if we'd wanted to be.
I have a girl and a boy, had a million ultrasounds throughout both pregnancies because I was high risk and was never able to tell either time. We found out in the delivery room for both.

Yes, it was clear he was a boy.
She asked before she started the scan if we wanted to know the sex. If we didn't want tip know, she would turn the screen away when scanning that area.
We were team green both times. She did turn off the monitor for a couple of seconds each time while she was in the general vicinity. I also wasn't really looking that hard, so maybe I was just oblivious. I have two boys.
It would have been clear to me, but only because I hang out on message boards and had seen pics of what it would look like. H probably wouldn't have been able to tell.
ABUNDANTLY clear. My kid has NO shame. The tech was like "want to know what you're having" and I was like "prettttttttttty sure the space guys at NASA can see what we're having!"
We didn't want to know. We both were pretty sure we saw it was a girl. Then I saw something (probably the cord and the foot?) that made me wonder if it might be a boy.
This time I'm going to be more insistent that I don't want to know, and that I know what 3 lines look like, LOL.

We were team green with DD and didn't see anything that made us think it was a girl or a boy. However, the US tech knew that we didn't want to find out, so I think she did what she could to keep us from getting a close look.
No. The u/s tech was looking at G's leg in the beginning of our a/s and asked H what it was. He thought it was a penis. Lololol
I really couldn't tell until late 3rd tri, honestly. Even then you could have told me it was something else and I probably would have believed you. I had a hard time seeing individual things on my u/s, since I feel like they switched between internal organs and outer anatomy pretty quickly.

The tech knew we didn't want to know so I'm guessing she avoided the obvious. I had ultrasounds every 2 weeks till 28 weeks and never saw anything. We were team green.

I couldn't tell at all with ours. Even the tech didn't seem 100% sure. I had lots of ultrasounds and later the techs were totally sure but I never saw what they were talking about. He also always had his hands completely covering his face and was very uncooperative in general lol. They spent a lot of time shaking my belly trying to get the necessary information.
The first time around, we had no ida based on the a/s. The tech did have us look away at one point to avoid seeing it, and they also started with the screen turned away to avoid the possibility of an immediate junk shot. We were convinced it was a girl, and it was a boy. Took me a few days after he was born to really process that.
With DD, my DH never noticed, but I thought I saw the 3 telltale lines and no junk. I did not tell my DH. The tech did not point it out one way or the other.
With a good u/s tech, who knows you want to be team green, it can certainly be done. They just have to be careful about starting with the screen turned away and choose the profile shots.

We told the tech that we did not want to know. She turned the screen towards her initially so we could not tell if he was in a position that would reveal his sex. Then she just didn't look in that area while the screen was faced towards us.

Yes, she was moving to another part of the body and passed over the area and we clearly saw 3 lines, we both looked at each other and said I think it's a girl. Then the tech went over it. It was pretty obvious We also googled what the u/s would look like the night before, other wise we would not have known what the 3 lines meant

I thought we knew what we were looking for, but we thought Ace was a girl so obviously we don't. We were really team green, but we wouldn't have been upset accidentally finding out.
