Hi. Procedure went fine. The prep was definitely the worst, I didn't get much sleep Wednesday night. The two procedures (upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy) were quick, I was done in under an hour for both. Endo showed a hiatial hernia (I still have to Google that, I don't know what it is) that would cause all my acid reflux. It's apparently a medium one, not large enough for surgery. Colonoscopy didn't show anything, and the biopsy results came about an hour ago - everything's normal. It may sound funny, but I'm kind of disappointed. No answers to why I haven't felt "well" (always upset stomach, never feel quite right) for almost two decades. I was hoping they'd say "oh, we found THIS, here's a pill to take and it'll go away." Oh well, on to the next set of ideas.
Things are OK at home. He hasn't been drinking as of late. He's been cleaning up the house room by room, and it's actually starting to look good. So, bonus?
