Anyone else up? I have been sleeping on the futon in the nursery so that H can get a better night's sleep. His work schedule is SO ridiculous this month. I am sleeping in the bed with him tonight, and it is so much more comfortable!
1st wake up for the baby (4 hr stretch) but I've already been up once with the toddler who woke up around 1am shrieking. No idea what's going on with her.

DD is asleep, but I am up. I have the worst respiratory infection ever. I'm going to urgent care in the morning to see if they think it's EV-D68. I've been quarantined in our guest bedroom, so I'm hoping DH and DD don't get this, whatever it is. I am miserable.
I squandered the first 4.5 hours of DS's incredible 7-hour sleep stretch organizing photos and writing instead of sleeping myself. What if he never does this again?
Dammit. Let's hope tonight isn't a repeat of last night.
Maybe y'all can help me. M sleeps in the RNP right next to the bed. In the MOTN, I usually nurse him until he falls back asleep. I hold him for another 5-10 minutes to make sure he's good and asleep, then I very carefully transfer him back to the RNP. This usually works, but he's been waking up more frequently after nursing lately. When he wakes back up, I try other methods to soothe him: paci, rocking, white noise. (We have a sound machine but it's not that loud, so when things are dire I play the hair dryer sound on my phone right in this ear.) these methods usually don't put him back to sleep, so then I'm back to nursing him. It took 2.5 hours to get him back to sleep last night. What am I doing wrong? How do you do this? (M is 7w fwiw.)

DD went through phases like that. I don't really have helpful advice beyond just do what you need to do to survive it. With dd, the phases usually lasted a few days and then she went back to her normal crappy sleep instead of her extra crappy sleep.
I'm up because I just got back from girls' night out -- saw LL Cool J & Salt n' Pepa in concert, drank margaritas, danced my butt off, and ate fair food. Tomorrow might hurt but I had so much fun tonight!
And the girls were super easy for H, so I won't have much guilt for future GNOs.
I got weighed today and apparently I'm that asshole that is going to GAIN weight while breastfeeding. Looks like WW is in my future.
Ugh I know what you mean. Breastfeeding hasn't been the magical experience for me with weight loss. I have a friend that lost the weight she gained while pregnant plus like an additional 30 lbs. And her daughter isn't even 3 months old yet. It doesn't help that I can't figure out when I can workout with my schedule and I'm afraid of affecting my supply.
L was still hungry after offering him both breasts. My H made and gave him a 2 oz bottle of pumped milk. That was around midnight. L slept until 4:45 so I'll take it. He's now back asleep after nursing. I'm trying to decide if I will just get up for the day since we moved on Friday and have stuff left to put away. At least all the boxes are unpacked and most rooms are done.
I've been having awful graphic dreams all night. Now I'm nursing for the one billionth time tonight. I think I'm gonna bail on brunch later - I'm just not up for it.
I dreamt I was staying in a local hotel for business which was stacked by an armed man on a shooting spree. Now I'm feeling unsettled.
My 22 mo old has been up twice. The 6 wk old has been up once (granted he didn't go down until 10:45 but still). I thought C was waking up so I went downstairs and warmed a bottle. Of course now he's quiet as can be sleeping. I can feel clogged ducts in my right Breast and need to pump but what if the baby wakes up? Ugh

Late 6 week growth spurt? Is he swaddled? Just try to survive. Nap when you can. Hugs.
Neighbors to our rental house decided to have a loud domestic argument outside last night which woke up DD's. DD1 had flu mist on Friday and it kicked her butt last night so she really needed the sleep.
