C is 14 mo and has lots of wispy curls over his ears and it's driving H crazy. He wants to get it cut, but I don't know if I'm ready for him to look like a big boy yet!
The day after his first birthday. He probably needed it around 5 months but I couldn't do it. His sideburns touched underneath his chin when wet like a chin strap.

We just did it a couple weeks ago (22 mo) and it was a disaster. She screamed the whole time and ultimately had to sit in my lap while I tried to hold her head still.
I didn't cut DS1's hair till he was 2? It's super curly and you could hardly tell afterwards! Now the little guy got his first trim at 11 months. It's straight and was getting in his eyes.

We have already trimmed his hair by 6 months because there was just so much of it! The newborn hair that didn't fall out gets in his eyes. The hair over his ears is getting ridiculous, so might have to trim that soon too.
Declan was about 20 months. He had those wispy curls over his ears and at the nape of his neck, but it was getting mullet-ish so we buzzed it and never looked back.
Asher was 7 months. He was born with a curly black fro, it was adorable. But by 7 mos, XH was tired of people commenting on his "beautiful daughter," and begged to cut it. It never curled again, even when it was long.
Adding this before/after of Asher because I already had this handy from making a THIRD BIRTHDAY collage earlier... *tear*
13.5 months. He's always had a lot of hair, but it was getting too long on the front and sides. I was so not ready. We almost bailed three times while waiting. At last I just told them to keep it long but trim up the sides and front. It barely looks cut, but got out of his eyes. I was a total basketcase.
DS is 13 months and probably ready for it, but I'm not. lol. It's different with girls; DD1 was almost 3, and DD2 was 4.
I should have done DD1's sooner because it looked so much better afterwards, but that first haircut is a tough milestone to accept! DD2 has curly hair so hers wasn't as noticeable, but the older she got the harder it was to convince her to get a cut. She finally agreed this past summer, thankfully.
DD1: 2.5-3 ish. It was pretty long at that point. There was an awkward stage around 12-18 months, but it grew fast enough that it didn't need to be shaped up.
DS: 18 months. I was sad to see the curls go.
DD2: Poor DD2 with her thin, slow growing hair We have been shaping it up since about 24 months. DH cuts it into a little pixie cut. It does suit her though. I can't picture her with longer hair at this point.
11 months. He looked adorable and like such a little boy instead of a baby! It's getting long and in his face again, so he will be getting another cut soon. He's 14 months now.

2.5 years old. And it was only for the back (although they trimmed the front). She'll be 3 in January and she is still rocking a TRUE mullet (much more so than most other MMM kids).
J is 6 months and I feel like I need to. He's got hair on the top of his head that is 3-4 inches long and the rest is short baby hair. It either creates a crazy comb over or he wakes up looking like Kramer from Seinfeld.
