Wicked (theater) for an almost 5 yo?

Did anyone here see Wicked in the theater? Do you think it would be ok for an almost 5 yo?

(She loves Star Wars, the Hobbit, and of course Wizard of Oz. She has seen plays on Broadway and loves it. I'm hunting for non-toy Christmas suggestions and Wicked will be playing locally in December.)

Live theater, or a movie? Movie I would be ok with.

No way would I take my 4 year old to any live theater that wasn't very kid centric, even my super well behaved, I can take her anywhere kid.

Only you know this. My DD would be terrified, but that is her personality. Since you say she has seen other things on broadway I would think she would be ok with it, but I don't know your kid

Do any of the community/civic theaters have anything for kids? Our local groups usually do 2-3 kid-centric shows each season, and they're supposed to be great. We're hoping to start taking DD in the spring.

Yeah, I was just going to say that a lot of times kids that young are not even allowed.

I took my then-4 year olds to Suessical the Musical, if you happen to see that come to your area.
