My office is in really bad shape financially. I found out last night that they have to cut back on overhead, and well-last hired first fired. We knew something could go down but I'm honestly shocked it's me. Both the office manager and one of the docs told me I'm their highest seller. Well it sounds like a really fucking bad business decision to let the highest producer go!
Another office within our network is hiring. So hopefully I won't even have a gap between jobs.
But I'm sitting in my office. How the hell am I supposed to work and be functional. I keep crying. I'm just so sad to leave a place I'm so comfortable in. Our routine with Alex is great. I'm just so angry.
Update: OMFG the email sent out to let everyone know made it sound like I found a better job and it was my decision. RAGE. I confronted the manager and she knows she screwed up and was told by the docs to fix it. I made her cry. Lolol
What assholes that they'd get rid of their best employee when then are struggling financially. I hope it works out well for you in that you find a new office that is better and you love. Good luck.

That's awful alzi I really hope you get the other position. How stupid to let their too producer go. No wonder they're in a bad $ spot, they'll be worse off without your production. Hang in there.

Ugh, I am so sorry. That just plain stinks. Hopefully you will get the job with the other office - maybe it will turn out that this door is closing because another BETTER one is opening. I know that doesn't help at all in this moment though. For now, just try to hang in there.
I hate the last-hired, first-fired method. We've done that where I work in the past and we've gotten rid of some of the most awesome folks simply because they don't have tenure (yet) and kept some crappy old dinosaurs around.
