Did you see the preview for next week? Korina is amongst those they bring back to help a designer still in the competition, she is paired with Char, and she (appears to) walk out after even more of a pity party.
Talk about a sore loser. They didn't like your cape, Korina. It's okay if you thought it was the world's best ever, it truly is. But they didn't like it or the 1-hour dress, and them's the breaks.

Her I shouldn't be here! You're right, you shouldn't, but I mean for a completely different reason. Hahaha. How big of Char to still welcome her with open arms though, even after she told Char to basically shut-up. I hope she walks out and doesn't come back and they have to bring in one of the other designers.
Char's 1hr dress was awesome, I do wonder though if it was all her sewing though. We know that Ken (?) did the hem, but did she really put that dress together all by herself???
I can NOT wait for the special after the last eps. You know they are going to play all of her nasty one-on-ones. Such a Bitch.
We just finished watching and I did a little happy dance. She was such a terrible sport about it. My DD was watching with us and I used her crappy behavior as a teaching moment about how not to lose. LOL
Korina's eye-rolling on the runway was Exhibit A on her attitude the whole season. I understand when designers think highly of themselves. I don't understand when designers think others are so inferior as to not be worthy of their competition. Char may not be my first choice to win by any means, but her attitude and tenacity has been top-notch. And that 1-hr dress really was impressive. Even if she had sewing help from Sean.
I finally watched yesterday. Char isn't the strongest designer, but damn - ESPECIALLY after this episode- she has CLASS. I like her, a lot.
Korina seems to be the only one harping on "but she was ELIMINTATED!". Dude. A- this IS still a game to a point and she was saved. Period. Get over it. B- you've been on the bottom before and pretty damn close to being eliminated. So... get over it. Everyone has a bad design. Her being eliminated doesn't mean she doesn't deserve to be there.
I do side- eye the producers for pairing them. I mean, I get it- DRAMA. But I hope Korina storming off means Char gets another partner. She really shouldn't be penalized for Korina's crappy attitude.
Oh, and at the end, when Korina was all "I hope this doesnt' mean my clients won't want to work with me". First thought - this show actually isn't the "be all/ end all" experience. Not winning doesn't mean you won't be successful.
BUT, my second thought was "If I was one of your clients, your shitty, poor loser attitude is what would actually make me drop you.".
JFC. The only nice thing I can say about her- I LOVE her skin. Flawless.
I like Char's personality and thought she handled all of it with grace. I don't think she is the strongest designer left and don't think she will make it to Fashion Week. But it does seem like there has been some major producer manipulation this season - she got the Tim save and two weeks ago (I think) Tim let her keep working after time was called. So I'm thinking that some of Korina's anger is actually with the producers, judges, and Tim, not really with Char.
Korina does throw major shade though so can't say I am sorry to see her go.

The thing is, if someone, (clears throat, Korina) had a problem with zipper gate, then they should have said something. As Tim said, had this occurred during a challenge where their regular models were working the runway then he would have said no, but it was a "person off the street" challenge and without that zipper those pants could have been an embarrassment to the woman, not to Char, and Tim didn't want to see that happen.

I totally agree with this. I read in another post, though, that what he should have done is give EVERYONE an extra 10 mins. you know they could all probably use another 10 just to do a couple final styling things or what have you. Or if they didn't need the time - so be it. But give it to everyone.
I think they didn't give everybody an extra 10 minutes because all the other designers' models were all dressed and ready. Basically everybody else was ready to go, it was just the broken zipper on Char's model. Also, that was the other designers' time to say "Yeah, I'd like 10 more minutes to futz with my model's look..." if they wanted/needed it. This wasn't shown, nor was any of the footage, so who knows exactly what got said.
Because the lady in red was the one who broke the zipper, and was not a runway model who was used to being naked/clothes-flapping-in-the-wind I think they did the right thing to extend the time (with the other designers' permission - which they did grant) and send the lady in red down with the bottom together. How embarrassing would it have been for that woman to walk down with the side wide open?
Also, it seems kind of crappy to cry foul AFTER YOU GAVE YOUR PERMISSION, KORINA. She's not too mousy that she couldn't have said no, or time is done, or gotten out 10 minutes for the rest of them. It was shown that nobody objected. I can only assume that if someone would have objected it would have made for good TV drama and it would have been shown.
I'm with ECB that if people like Korina's talent they will want to hire her but she might lose some business for being someone who can't just accept when something is decided. How would you like to go toe-to-toe with her on a design you were paying her to execute for you? Yeeesh. Way to make yourself look difficult to work with.
And, LOL about the admonishment to Char about "this isn't about you" after Korina has spent the previous minutes complaining about Char's talent, Char's look, Char being saved. Wow. I wonder how Char could have EVER gotten the idea that maybe some of Korina's tantrum was about Char??!
This isn't the first year of doing that. All the designers knew it was going to happen at some point that an eliminated designer would be coming back - maybe even themselves. They each still signed up for the show despite knowing this.
I viewed Korina's "you were eliminated" rant as sour grapes considering if the save had been used on Korina would she want someone complaining about it after her return? Like Char said, she was saved 5 challenges before. It's not like Char hadn't gotten through more rounds.
Does Korina really think the ONLY REASON that Tim Gunn would use his save would be on Char's likable personality? Whether Char is the "best designer" or not, he gets to use his save on whoever he wants, whenever he wants, but do you really think someone trained in fashion like TIM GUNN is only saving the nice people without any thought to them having talent or more to show?
Wow, nice dig at Tim Gunn, Korina. That'll get you work in the future.
