Hopefully she won't make such a ridiculous face though. Instead of cotton balls you can glue pillow fluff (whatever it is called) since it is bigger and might not take as long.

Oh! You could do a white beanie and put ears on that. Since well, it is going to be cold right. I found this one on pinterest. It looks like maybe a white body suit over a brown long sleeve tshirt and leggings?

If you have the time and energy and are sure she'd like it, go for it.
I don't hate crafty stuff at all.

However, if that was me in my current state, I'd Amazon it, get DD used to it beforehand and say, "This is all there is, let's go get some candy!"

I say try it, and if it looks awful, have a back up plan. Maybe don't tell your DD you're trying, though. I know mine would be all, "it looks awesome mommy, I'm wearing it!" even if it looked like my toddler got loose with a bag of cotton balls and some glue.

I also think cotton balls might be harder and not look as good. Go to Michaels and see what they have!
