I thought I read in Johlise's post yesterday that they outsourced? Or maybe the outsourcing is what caused all the worst of the problems. I don't know, I'm just excited to maybe have usable forums again!
ksta = kst_ I put my former Nestie name in my sig until y'all get used to it.
But now I can FINALLY change my name without worrying about losing all my post count! Yippee!! (Knot Annie screwed up when fixing my name to be anonymous and my name was supposed to be KST_Ivankitteh)
Jennlin - I actually just asked Knottie Annie at that TK event held at the hotel (when we got the free canvas bags). I told her I realized I was a dingbat and in Googling my last name, I was the ONLY PERSON in all of Google-world with those initials so it wasn't safely anonymous enough at that point. She must have been in a good mood or something because she said she would change it for me, but not to spread it around since it's against policy.
And now I'm being a spaztard and changed it to Ivankitteh XD I'm done now, promise! I think...
oh that's really nice of her. i thought you had another "in" and i was totally jealous of that
Yeah it was actually. She must have liked the SN or something to agree to it! Haha, no, I didn't have another 'in' because if I did, I would TOTALLY have flaunted that fact in your face

i feel bad for theknot/thenest/thebumb though.. they just lost a FVCKton of money.
I'm not sure I feel so bad for them. They haven't necessarily been honest/forthcoming with information, and it never really seems like they cared one way or the other if we were happy. Honestly, they should have seen this coming a mile away.

yeah, i feel bad for them, because they really did lose a lot of clicks from us. but there's also groups that are refusing to move...
i don't know if they "should've seen it coming", because they've been doing format changes forever, and it's never driven such a big migration. small groups, BMB, anniversaries, and locals have left, but never such a huge group! i'm kinda proud of the group
