Lol! DH and I saw an AF commercial last night and literally had to rewind it because we recognized NOTHING even remotely familiar. I feel your pain. :-)

I choose to live in blissful ignorance... And then someone puts up a period show with horrendous costuming, or they have someone "knitting" in a scene somewhere (or, rather, holding knitting needles and not doing anything productive...).

I've always had to look away from anyone playing a string instrument or piano unless they clearly already know how to play.

Every once in a while, I'll yell something at the tv and H will raise an eyebrow and say "Are you SURE you don't want to be a soldier?"

I'm still so debating unsure if he's being sarcastic in those moments though. Most of the time it's something like "Why are you stopping to cry? There are bullets all around you! Shut up and goooooooo." You know, my heartless moments.

I think White House Down or Fallen Olympus was the most recent one where I yelled "They're coming! A lot of em! Stop yer belly aching, grab the gun and GO!" And DH wouldn't stop laughing.

DH won't watch The Tudors or other historical shows/movies like that because I am always commenting, or fact checking with muttering on my phone.
