random flu shot question.

my insurance covers my flu shot for free..they usually do it on site at a big flu-shot event..everyone gets in a cattle line and we get our shot. in the past, i've also gone into a walk-in clinic, bypassed the dr, and had a MA give me the shot..no charge, bill straight to insurance.

when grocery stores say "get 10% off if you get your flushot here", and they charge....say $25....anyone know if that's on top of what my insurance covers, or will my insurance reimburse me the $25?

No clue. I usually go to bartells and they bill my insurance for me so it's free.

no clue. I always just do a walk in at our DR office and get them done since you don't need an apt to do them.

Pretty sure I did it at Safeway 2 years ago and Insurance paid for it....not positive though

I say if you shop there normally just ask when you are there and either do it then or plan for it at another day?

I didn't know Bartell's did this! Good to know. I already got my shot, but the hubs needs his. He tried to tell me he didn't, and I was like, "You have a newborn. You're getting a shot. This is not up for discussion."

my insurance doesn't let me do it because it's from a pharmacy. mine has to be from a doctor. call your insurance
