- no one should wear flesh color leggings. No one. - meatballs are delicious - carts really should only go forward or backwards. The side to side thing is silly.
My thoughts on you being in Ikea are full of jealousy. I need an IKEA fix pronto. I went before we moved and literally bought 2 carts full of stuff. Enjoy the meatballs...lucky.

Agree with the meatballs. Also dd loves the play area and I lime that I get an hour or shopping with just ds. The frozen yogurt is yummy too. And who wears flesh colored leggings....um no, just no.

I have a really long wish list going on my IKEA app right now. I'm REALLY excited that DD can go in the play area now. Taking her through IKEA is torture.

I can't wait until my kids are old enough to hang out in the Ikea play place. Right now they're happy enough playing with the displays in the children's section, but shopping on my own would be so amazing!

We have the colored pencils and the water color box thing. I haven't opened either. I was thinking of having ds1 paint water color pictures for the grandparents for Christmas. Abstract is always in style, right?
Also, the plates/cups/bowls/flatware from the kids section are the best I've found. Super cheap and microwave/dishwasher safe.
love, love, love IKEA. We just gone one here last month and we went on opening day. The meatballs are amazing. We were there about 5 hours and DD was in the play area for part of it. I actually don't mind the carts because they are smooth to push.

Are you in the kc area? We got to go 4 days before it opened because my mom is on the planning commission. It was still packed, even though it was invite only.

Yep! We got there around 9am, had lunch there and got home at 3pm and had to take a nap. The parking lot wasn't finished and they had buses taking customers there from the k-mart parking lot. DD got her face painted and played with the mime.
