When you make a fruit salad, do you add anything other than fruit? For example, sugar, yogurt, stevia, lemon juice, etc.
Eta: yes, I'm at my ILs. Validate my way, please I do NOT add sweetener to fruit salad--let the fruit speak for itself! Lemon juice to prevent browning is acceptable.
Sometimes lemon juice. Depending on the fruit, sometimes a tad of sugar. Like, a tablespoon. But only if it's berry heavy and they are sour. Otherwise, no.
Fruit salad is just fruit. When I cut up strawberries though I will add maybe a half teaspoon of Splenda to the whole carton of they are sour. So I guess I'm a special snowflake because I might slightly sweeten my strawberries slightly before hand, but I would never put sugar on the whole salad.
