No seriously, I cannot decide on a name. And it is worse because I am getting so many unsolicited name requests from family, or names I can't use for whatever reason and now I am at a complete loss. So share your favorite names for girls please!
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
We are probably going to have daughters who hate us if we end up with a girl. We like old Irish lady names like: Claire Kathleen Rose Lucy Margaret (nn Maggie or Peggy) Helen
I love Naomi but it doesn't go with DH's last name. Natalie, Bryn, Louise and Annette are names I like too.

Pick something godawful to tell the family and explain that it is decided and done so you don't need other suggestions. Hopefully that will give you a little space to look at options you like. Good luck, I had a hell of a time coming up with names, finally got railroaded into the one we picked (though it suits her well and has grown on me).
Seriously, I need a reminder of what kinds of names you like.
Evidently I like top 20 names because everything I have picked has recently made it or continues to be on the top 20 list.
Olivia Charlotte Lauren Natalie Nina
I also like unisex names, but my husband is still struggling with those
Ryan Taylor Morgan
I should add, that I am not necessarily looking for a top 20 name, it just happened that those have popped up on the list. I would prefer something less popular but as you can tell from my screenname, I am not the most creative person!

I did that with my family. I told them I was going to name DS Grover, except I was serious. My grandmother even called me to tell me her father (Grover) felt no one needed to be named after him.

LOL...both of my top two girls names are on that list. guess I'm an old lady name kinda girl.
Claire and Kathleen (Or Kathryn) are my top two (three).
MH is into some kinda out there more Gaelic style names, which I've vetoed for pronouciation issues.

Aoife and Aisling?
Hey, get her into Irish dance, and then your whole social group will be able to pronounce them. I knew more strangely named Gaelic children when I was a competitive Irish dancer.
One of my high school BFF's was named Aoife.
His favorite is Niamh. He's willing to go with the englishified spelling of Neave, but I still veto that one.
I actually like Aisling and suggested that one myself when he started fixating on Gaelic names, but he didn't like it. Go figure.
He also suggested Conchobar for a boy. Because he's insane. Luckily we both actually really like the english spelling of that one. (Connor)

I tried to tell them I wasn't going to decide anything until after she gets here, but I still get a lot of suggestions and cautioned about how it is important the name mean something or have some kind of story. Sigh.

How is the turkey shorti doing?
We joke about putting DS in Irish step classes so he can meet the ladies. But, I am kind of thinking I might do it for real. Walking will have to come first I suppose.....
I wanted to avoid names that were too popular (my name ensures that there are eight of us in any given room) but not weird. We may have ended up with weird, but I like it anyway - Anika. I wish H had mentioned Aria since he has always been a fan of the books, but I wouldn't use it now.

Eh, they'll get over that once she's here.
I think all of the ones you posted are great. Of them, I think Nina is my favorite. That's one of those lovely names that doesn't seem to get used a ton, but I don't feel like it screams old lady either.
A list of my favorite girl names in no particular order (aka, not giving away our girl name ):
Lucy Hazel Henrietta (obviously this is NOT a name I will use for Henry's little sis haha) Ruby Penelope (septimus - I also love the nn poppy for this one) Wren Imogene Margaret with more offbeat nns like Maisie or Daisy
My sis and I have decided I like old fashioned English woodland whimiscal girls names lol. Im guessing you wont like these though... Im very much not into unisex names etc. And as the wife of a Ryan I just HAVE to say... please dont name your daughter Ryan!!!!
