Sooo I need help picking a good brand of paint. I have my goals set high for J's birthday and that includes getting as much painting of the inside done as I can. Besides the bedrooms our house it literally one giant room and its all this darker green type color. I don't mind the color but I need a change and it needs to be lighter. Thankfully the colors we have in mind won't look back if I don't get all the green painted over since I will probably be doing one wall at a time.
I need a good covering paint though so I am not having to go over a wall with a few coats. Because lets face it I just don't have time for that nonsense and the kids won't let that happen lol So good covering paint that is also easy to wipe down since I have kids and mostly because I have a very slobbery/slobber flinging hound
Very very happy with Miller Paint (their own brand of eco paint, not the normal stuff) we have also more recently (Scottsdale condo) gotten the highest quality Behr paint from HD and it covered VERY well, so I'd recommend that as well.

I don't know how much you're willing to spend, but we have Benjamin Moore Aura paint throughout our house. It's low VOC, and is a washable matte finish. I'm not a fan of any sort of sheen so having the matte finish but being able to easily wipe down the walls was HUGE for us.
