We're FINALLY putting in the trash pullout and it's installed in the island cabinet behind the door on the left side. Sadly I can't use it until we get a knob or a pull on there. I think there are four options (the ones in the poll).
The hardware on the drawers in the center of the island are 6'' Gilmore pulls. The 4'' version is on other drawers in the kitchen and would probably fit the size of the cabinet door better, but I'm worried it would look funny next to the 6'' pulls.
The other option is to use one of the knobs, but I don't know if I should install it on the top of the frame in the middle or to the right so it compliments the other cabinet door.

I *want* to say knob installed opposite the other one, for sake of symmetry, but honestly, that wouldn't work at ALL well to evenly open a pull-out. So, for sake of ease of use, I say a 4" gilmore pull.

Me too. I so want it to be mirrored, but the knob makes zero since on a pullout, so I vote the 4in.
Function trumps symetry for something used constantly. As a bonus, the pull will make it easier for vistors to find the proper cabinet for the trash. I had a trash cabinet and my guests could never find the damned thing.
