Yes! A LOVES school and Iz is excited for something new.

We had kinder orientation today and Iz got to meet her teacher and see the classroom, she was beaming as she talked about her new classroom.

That sounds so exciting! I have such fond memories of that time of year growing up. New school year, new classes, new outfit and most importantly a new Lisa Frank note book! ;-)

How exciting! Happy first day of school to them and you. Also though, I have difficulty wrapping my head around such different school schedules!! Both where I grew up and where I live now school ends mid to late June and begins again after Labor Day in September. The idea of school in August is crazy to me!!

I had the same September-June schedule growing up but the schools out here are year round. Crazy but I really like the schedule.

L is a teacher and would love year round school--so much less lost knowledge!

Carrot is so excited--she is telling EVERYONE that she is going to kindergarten this year

I am nervous/excited for them to start.

And sad for me, because that means real job hunting must begin.
