Give it to me straight...am I the only one who doesn't feel awesome? I'm pretty crampy all the time, and have trouble sleeping. Anyone else? Or should I be worried? After last year's loss I am still kind of anxious.
You are not alone. I am sleeping terribly, my back and hips are killing me, still have morning sickness, and get period like cramps at least once a day. I was like this with DD too. Its pretty normal. As long as your cramps don't involve bleeding I'm sure everything is fine.
I was ok during the second tri, but my bestie was not. She was crampy and in pain most of the second tri, her back and hips were a mess. She also has low BP issues and was fighting nausea and just generally feeling lousy during the entire tri. It eased up around 26-27 weeks for her, but then she was just uncomfortable.
You're not alone. Pregnancy is different for everyone, your body is just telling you where it hurts. Do the best you can relax and be kind to yourself. Warm bubble baths, massage appointments, stay very hydrated (water and gatorade) and keep your feet up when you can.
ETA: And to calm your fears a bit, she's had a very healthy pregnancy after 2 losses. It's been hard on her, but the baby is fine. She's a few days overdue now, though, so she's pretty uncomfortable.
Your not alone at all! I'm sleeping horribly most days, it's ironic that the rare day's I manage to get a nap in are the nights that I sleep better. I'm not "glowing", I'm tired and grumpy most days.
I'm sorry I can't help you with the crampy feeling, maybe BH? As pp said if your not bleeding your most likely ok, but if it bothers you ask your Dr about it next time you are in for a visit.
You aren't alone! I'm still having some days where I'm throwing everything up, I can never sleep through the night, I'm still waiting for that burst of energy to come back that people talk about.
I've been having some sort of crampy feelings too - kind of ache-y and my hips hurt a lot. I'm guessing it's just things moving around in there?

Thanks so much for all of your responses. I'm 22 weeks, and probably some of it is constipation..tmi. I had a cup of coffee today, which I had cut out and it seems to be helping a bit.
Not alone. I haven't felt horrible but I get sore if I try to do much. I also get tired very easy. I thought I was suppose to be getting my energy back but it seems I can only work a couple hours and I am wiped out.

I'm convinced I have a UTI right now...but I have periods where I feel okay and I'm wondering if I'm just overanalyzing some normal pregnancy growing pains....
I used to sleep through the night, now I have to get up to pee and overall, quality of sleep has been bad.
I started my second trimester with some really bad headaches. The pain lessened after two weeks and I was able to keep them at bay or at least on the mild side by starting my day with caffeine.
Then I was pretty good for a while.
Around 20 weeks, I had really bad back pain - I was laid up for two days. It got better, but my back was more prone to being achy from that point on. I just have to make sure I have proper support when sitting now and it hasn't been too bad.
I also started getting leg and foot cramps in the middle of the night.
On the whole though, I was pretty ok. My first trimester was a breeze though - I was very lucky there.
Toward the end of second trimester I started getting rib pain. Now I'm in my third and my rib pain is pretty bad. It comes and goes, but when it's bad it's really bad. In fact, yesterday I left work early just so I could lie down.
My first two weeks of second tri were the only two weeks I was really sick. In this last week, I have had pretty significant pain in the pubic bone area. It makes walking long distances or working out almost impossible and extremely uncomfortable.
But I feel very lucky that the nausea is gone and I haven't had to get up to pee in almost two weeks. I go three or four times in the 90 minutes before bed and then I'm usually okay until 6 am. I will take the pubic pain and just be a lazy slug for the next few months as long as I am sleeping and not puking!

I'm 17 weeks and change, and I've definitely been crampy pretty consistently. It totally sucks and messes with my pgal brain too.
My biggest issue though is knee and hip pain while I'm in bed. I've tried all kinds of pillow configurations but nothing helps. I've also had more headaches this tri.
Also, so much damn discharge that I seriously have to sit here and force myself not to go to the bathroom to check for bleeding every 20 minutes.
I had a ridiculously easy (physically, not mentally) first tri so this may be payback.

I just got done with 2nd tri, but I'm with a lot of you - I didn't feel awesome during it at all, especially compared with my first PG. I didn't sleep very well, didn't have a big surge of energy and had a lot more hip/butt pain than the first time around. You aren't alone!
At 21 weeks I feel almost normal. That is not always the case. I get bad motion sickness and some days I have trouble sleeping. I feel a lot of stretching around my midle and that can vary from fine to painful.
Joint and back pain has been minimal of late. Digestive problems have been minimal. Talk to me in a month and I'm sure it'll be a different story;)

I heard I was supposed to feel AWESOME during 2nd tri! Yeah, still waiting. I mean, compared to the exhaustion I had 1st tri I guess I feel great, but I'm still so tired and I still feel more fat than pregnant most days, lol. At least the spotting I had has been gone for weeks, that's a plus!

I'm almost 19w, and I generally feel decent, but there are all kinds of annoying things:
- still getting occasional morning sickness - two days this week of horrible heartburn - insomnia - dizziness - also, still exhausted by the end of the day
Btw, I find a green smoothie helps keep things moving. Plus, it's a good way to get fruits and veggies.
