It's a big weekend for Minnesota H&F gals too with Monster Dash tomorrow! I'm running the half. Weather looks good except a little windy for my liking. What's everyone wearing? Did we decide a time for sure to GTG if it works? @mn06 breezy8407jene
Good luck MCM peeps! I've got a 5k sat (fun run with stroller) and the gettysburg 1/2 on Sunday!
Ooh, I bet it's pretty there this time of year. My parents lived in Chambersburg for a while and I loved visiting Gettysburg when I'd go see them. Enjoy!
I have a 10 miler on Sunday. I've never raced this distance, so yay for automatic PRs!! It around a cemetery and we get to take home pumpkins! I have a time in mind that would make me feel great about my upcoming marathon, but considering that just 5 days ago I ran a strong 23 miler, I'll settle for anything in the ballpark of my goal time.

Good luck, racers!
10 milers are one of my favorite distances. It is just long enough that you have to run a comfortable pace for most of the race and it isn't like a 10k where you want to go out too fast and ruin everything.
This weekend is the Georgia State Cyclocross Championships. I usually race in a combined division, but we have our own State Championship jersey up for grabs. I have no hope of winning it, but I'll give it my best shot!

So in my infinite wisdom I was all I can do two 5ks in one weekend, NBD! That was before the PF started screaming and my allergies decided to rear their ugly head. Anywho, I seem to be back into the slight swing of things but not going to push it too hard. That's a long winded way of saying I have a 5k on Sunday.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
