too ask for? High of 87 today and 80s all next week. I know Socal doesn't really get a winter but last year it was at least in the low 70s upper 60s. I don't think its ever going to cool off. We're going to the pumpkin patch and just going to pretend its fall lol.
Don't be one of those moms sweating their asses off wearing skinny jeans and boots with a sweater and scarf in the 80 degree afternoon. There were a million of them at the pumpkin patch last weekend and we are going to the Great Park tomorrow and I imagine there will be more of the same there as well.
Right there with ya here in Texas. I was really hoping it would be perfect and low 70s for my boys' bday party at the park tomorrow - NOPE high of 89. It's supposed to be 80 on Halloween. Vampires can wear shorts, right? lol.

Were you the person who suggested the Spooktacular at the Great Park? If so, thank you! We went on the 11th and it was a ton of fun We got there at 8:40 and it was overcast and not crowded. By the time we were ready to leave the clouds were starting to dissipate and the temps were rising fast. It was great though and a lot more organized than the first time we went when they didn't have tickets and the crowds were crazy.
I hear ya! I do want to wear my boots and scarves, but it's really hard to complain when the weather is this perfect. Not a cloud in the sky! But it's October and we need rain.

I'm just glad it's finally getting to the point where I can throw on a hoodie in the evening and not look too crazy. But, yeah, it'd be nice if I could wear something other than a tank top and capris on my lunchtime run. It's freaking hot out.
Eff all of you. 98 tomorrow. A record high heat wave. On Keira's outdoor b-day party day. YAY!
that sucks! I'm sorry! My daughter's birthday was on the 4th and it was 103 (the weekend before it was lovely and in the 70s). We had it at a park and you can bet we were all done by 1pm, packed up, went home and lounged in the air conditioning.
Stay hydrated!
Oh, I have been praying for cooler weather. I have forgotten what rain is like!
