A SM posted that she left on XX date. All I put was "OPSEC" as a comment. Eight people liked my response. She asked if that really was a violation. I posted a link to some rules and her response was classic. "It's only me so I'm not posting troop movements!"

I let someone else explain it to her. I got defriended shortly after.

Well frankly, at least in the USAF, we often travel on commercial flights totally alone and not connected with any sort of specific mission or deployment, so I'm not sure how her post would be any more harmful than watching Army people walk around the airport in uniform and seeing what flights they get on.....
