Now that we're done bringing bottles to daycare for C, I don't know that we really need to bring a whole diaper bag full of stuff. We used to bring H's diaper bag (which doubled as the daycare diaper bag), with a few diapers, wipes, change of clothes, baby Tylenol, snacks, other random stuff, along with a bottle bag.
It seems like we don't need all that stuff anymore and could probably downsize the bag and then maybe H could just keep a change of clothes and a few other things in his truck in the event that he has to go somewhere right after daycare.
I was thinking of buying him one of the Skip Hop backpacks and keeping a change of clothes in it. Otherwise he has diapers/wipes at daycare, milk stays at daycare, etc.
AJ's backpack that goes back and forth to the sitter's weekly has: -diapers -wipes -butt cream -2 pairs of "pajamas of shame" in case of blowouts -an extra PnP sheet
Usually when I bring the bag back home on Fridays I find a sock or two and small random toys he may have brought with him over the course of the week (then promptly forgotten about once he got there).
Just a change of clothes (incl socks), hat (winter and sun) and mittens. Milk and food are brought daily or weekly depending on what it is, and they let me know when they need more diapers, wipes and cream.
The only thing I bring home everyday is his lunch bag and coat
We keep 2-3 full changes of clothes, blanket and teddy bear for naptime, toothbrush, I bring a bunch of diapers and wipes to keep in his diaper cubby, and a full set of winter outdoor gear that stays there- coat, pants, hat, mittens, boots. Plus lotion and Chapstick.
I only bring his blanket home on weekends to wash, and restock clothes and diapers/wipes as needed.
We leave his sheet, cups, diapers, wipes, butt cream and change of clothes in his cubby. We bring his backpack everyday but it is pretty much empty. On Friday they send home his dirty sheets in it.
