There are flush-mount lights in the hallway upstairs that I think would work well with that style:
I was originally thinking about something like this for the entryway:
ML said it was pretty for a restaurant or hotel but wouldn't work for a residential house. I completely disagree and have found numerous pictures of similar lighting in houses on Houzz and the local realty website. Kill-joys... Anyways, I have since wondered if that chandelier would be too much since the (empty) dining room is right off the entryway and will eventually have a sparkly chandelier/light fixture in addition to the two chandeliers in the kitchen. Is there such thing as too many chandeliers? I'm normally all for sparkly and over-the-top.
So with that in mind, I was thinking of a cluster of cascading bulbs, similar to this look in the entryway:

What kind of light is the third light you can't see in the "both" pic?
I think your entryway is huge, and could def handle that chandelier you like! If you got it, would you still do that circular light for the stairs? My concern is those don't match each other. One is modern and one is glamorous. Idk. I'd do something more plain so it didn't take away from the chandelier. I do however also really like the multiple bulbs, and think that would look nice with that stair light.
The hidden light fixture in the both pic is a dropped ceiling fan. That area is a study and there's a ceiling fan in there as well as the living room. When I finally pull the trigger on entry lighting, I'll buy silver ceiling fans to match (that way the handyman can hang everything at once).
I can see what you mean about the chandelier and stairway light option. The cascading pendants would match the style better. But then would the modern entryway lighting clash with the glam lighting in the kitchen and future dining room?
I really like the lights you picked out for the stairway and the upstairs hallway. For the entryway, I like the fancy chandelier better than the cascading bulbs idea. I'm a beginner to home styling myself, but *to me* it's not too fancy because your foyer is big, spacious, and has a formal feel to it. If the chandelier is what you really want, then go for it!
ETA: I do have to agree with the PP that the first two lights have a more industrial feel while the chandelier is more glamorous. They don't exactly match each other in that respect.

No it wouldn't clash Bc its a different room. It's just that the entry and stairs are right by each other, so I feel like they should match. Also, having a different look will really make your kitchen lighting stand out.
The more I look at the pics, the more I like the pendants better, especially in that second pic. It sort of gives the illusion of the chandelier with the spiral, but goes more with the stair lighting.
I found this one on a website for a local lighting store. I kind of love it. It has hand blown starbursts on the inside of each globe and I could get the starbursts in clear. I feel like that would add a wow factor.
I love the one you picked for the stairway! I also like the second one with the hanging bulbs you just posted. Before you posted that, I was thinking of something like this:
Pobably not not this exact one, since the rest of your fixtures are silver/chrome, but along these lines. Although I actually like that last one you posted better, I think the length of it will be nice in your vaulted entryway.

You have a beautiful house!
Oh I love this too! I actually like this for the stairway, and the long pendants for the entryway. Sort of ties everything together.
jjwritergirl The flush mounts are already there so no going back on those! Granted, I don't think they're as industrial looking in person. You can see one in the top right corner of the stairway pic.
mac08 I've seen that and like it! Z gallerie actually had a silver one that I was considering but I waited too long and it's gone now. I know other places sell similar ones though.
I feel the need to also add that the front door will be replaced in a few weeks. It will be the last of the awkward paint color the previous owners painted everything with (and now we can't open or close the dang door thanks to humidity and paint expanding).
We'll now have a door with a zombie hatch per my husband's request.
