What I'm finding sad is that I truly cannot remember what happened that made everyone (including me eventually) leave tb (I even deleted my account, so I must have cared a little bit to put forth even that much effort), but this board has been dead for so long that even though almost all the posters in here and the drama look remotely familiar, I can't remember any specifics.
I wish this board was active again, even if it takes the return of Hav to make it happen. I'm mostly on MMM these days, and that board is often filled with posts about baby stuff.

Not going to lie, but I was a little dissapointed that this is a really old post. I actually thought for a second that Hav popped in to say hello.

It was mod drama. Our SAHM MOD went power hungry. We asked for another mod, elected one (I know her real name, but can't remember her screen name...), and the current mod went apeshit. TB started interfering, and we peaced da fuck out.

And parenting made fun of us said we were drama queens, and shortly thereafter, same thing happened to them, though instead of just coming here, they started a new business, practically (for real maybe?) and tried to put XO out of business. (more power to 'em)

But then wasn't there drama with the new mod? Like a catfish story? All I know is I read through this whole thread and there are so many posters who haven't posted in forever. This is the board that brought me over but I really never got a chance to be active before it died.

No, the "new" mod never got made a mod. All the drama was with the old mod.

Alicia was the mod of my first BMB (June 2012) and was BFFs with another poster (from the May 2012 BMB) from another state, who was married to a convicted pedophile. Alicia thought it was NBD to hang with them all together with the kids, and even kept the convicted pedophile husband a secret as she collected money from the BMBs because the BFF had twins and her husband “couldn’t get a job” (it came out later it was due to his convictions). So all the nice posters who donated money were (rightfully) pissed off but I don’t think anyone ever got their money back.
