Morning!!! It's been a quick month - hard to believe it will be be Christmas soon!!!!
Weekend was good - relaxing for the most part! I spent a lot of time in the kitchen, making macarons and cake balls. Otherwise, had Zumba, ran some errands and just tried to relax!
Today should be quiet. I'm exhausted from staying up too late to watch the Steelers, so just trying to make it through the day :-P
QOTD: I really love my Tangle Teezer brush I bought in the UK, you can use it on wet and dry hair! Otherwise, can't think of anything! I recently bought some Bumble and Bumble dry shampoo, since I try to go a few days between washing my hair! It's a powder and adds nice volume, so my hair doesn't look as bad ;-)
Hello, October certainly is going quickly! Summer is arriving here, so we went to the beach yesterday. It was windy and the water was freezing (that's normal year-round!) but DS loved played in the sand and even loved running at the waves despite the temperature of the water. Also DH and I had a date night on Friday. We haven't gone out as just the two of us (sans baby and sans friends) in a VERY long time. It was a great evening.
QOTD: I got a Gardnier eye roller thing recently to help with under-eye circles. Besides mascara, this is the one thing I need every day. I'm liking it a lot so far. better than other things I've tried and very light, so I don't get the reverse racoon effect of wearing makeup only there.

Time really is flying!! 19 days until we get the keys to our house!!
This weekend we took a trip to ikea to pick up some basics well want as we start painting and moving in (dishes, cups, utensils, coffee press, towels and garbage cans) and look at furniture possibilities. We bought our couch on Friday at another store. Yesterday we went to a Halloween party thrown by one of the families in the living abroad group I'm a part of. It was so much fun!! Dd was one of the younger mobile kids, but still had a blast. It was crazy with 25 kids, but so enjoyable. We're now organizing a Christmas party.
QOTD: I don't really have any new or current favorites. I'm in a bit of a makeup rut. I did recently buy a new moisturizer since my old one was making me way too oily. The new one is garnier I think, Nordic Match. Not sure if I love it, but it smells nice so that's a plus.

Good Morning! (or evening as the case may be).
Today I watched the Saints game (Whoo-Hoo!!! a win!), talked to my parents & younger brother about the upcoming cruise, and did some housework, before heading out for tap class. It was a tough class -- the teacher ran through the warm-ups/drills double time and then we added a bit to this term's routine that is roughly equivalent to patting my head and rubbing my stomach at the same time. By the fourth half time run, I think I had it mostly. I know what I'll be practicing this week!
QOTD: I'm a pretty low maintenance person, but I am really loving my Softlips Vanilla lip protectant lately. And DH got me a tube of Cake Batter Chapstick that I'm really loving just sniffing. I'm on the lookout for a sunscreen for my walks, but I haven't found one that doesn't make me itch, and I HATE to waste $8-15 on a tube on spec so I've not been using any. I know, I know…

I caught the tail end of the Steelers game. What do you think of the bumblebee uniforms?
Omg, the throwback stripe uniforms are not my favorite!!! I watch the game with friends, and we were discussing this last night. We think if the pants weren't flesh colored, it wouldn't be as bad. But it is definitely not my favorite look! I hope this is the only week they wear them :-P
Congrats on your Saints win!! It's always worth it to stay up for a win :-)
I had an extremely lazy weekend. After a work party on Friday night, I pretty much stayed in all weekend and watched TV (did a small bit of cleaning and laundry).
QOTD: When I was in the US last month the lady at the Clinique counter sold me on their Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. I'm loving it. It adds enough color to show up but not enough to be all "HEY CHECK OUT MY LIPSTICK!"
How is everyone? Do anything fun this weekend? What's on tap for today?
QOTD: Current favorite beauty product? (Could be moisturizer, makeup, shampoo - anything!)
I got to meet some lovely London ladies this weekend! It was fun! Today, I met up with the coach of my hockey team (both the one I coach and the one I play on) to talk hockey - it was good.
QOTD: Right now I'm loving red lipstick. I'm having fun with different shades and adding some pink here and there. Bright lips for me!

Do you have access to Simple products? I have sensitive skin and loved the spf 30 moisuriser which I used as a sunscreen as well.
