Thanksgiving will be fairly casual at my SILs house. Maybe a sweater dress or leather leggings and a tunic sweater. Caramini is going to wear a sweater dress that she will also wear for our Christmas card photo shoot, so. I want to look OK in group pics.
Christmas Eve is always a fancy cocktail party with my fam, so a cocktail dress I bought and wore for a work gala earlier this year. It has long sleeves and a knee length flared skirt, but the sleeves and high(er) neckline are lace, so it is still a little interesting. Christmas Day will be more casual, but maybe black pants or nice jeans and a tunic with my dad's family.
sjh722 I specifically bought two more target tunics a size larger hoping they can get me through these last 2 months. The only thing stopping me from wearing leggings to work is that I can't take my tall boots off by myself very easily and I'll need to be able to throw my winter boots on before leaving for the day.
I haven't the foggiest. For Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, probably jeans and a nice top. That's my weekend uniform. On Christmas I'll probably stay in my elf pajamas all day. We aren't seeing any family or venturing out of the house.
i don't get thanksgiving this year i was in the states for Canadian thanksgiving and i'll be in Canada for American thanksgiving. christmas will be dark wash skinny jeans and a nice top, upgraded from my daily uniform of dark wash skinny jeans and a v-neck t-shirt.
my real clothing challenge is h's fancy pants work party. i was 28 weeks pregnant last year so comfort trumped fashion. i want to actually make an effort this year, but, ugh, effort. i need to start shopping for a dress now so i'm not scrambling at the last minute.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
On Christmas I plan on wearing pjs. And then changing into something else. Probably skinny jeans and a sweater.
Tday, I am the chef, so I'll be in kitchen appropriate stuff until the bitter end when I shall emerge with probably a tunic top and jeggings. God bless tunics for their midsection inattention.

I dress up for Christmas day, Boxing day and New years day.
I'm actually contemplating the Gymboree mom gold skirt as it would go amazingly with DD's dress but it that too much? Lol. I'm going a bit wild with the mother/daughter combinations.
We are not dressing up people for these holidays at all. I'll be spending Thanksgiving at home in yoga pants and Christmas, eh, maybe throw on a pair of jeans?
However, I AM stressing about dressing myself for a fancy wedding we have in a few weeks!
It depends, ILs used to be all about dressing up for Thanksgiving which was really foreign to me. However, now that we all have small children we really haven't bothered. I am hoping to get away with skinny jeans, boots, a fitted flannel top/cute sweater.
I will have a dress on backup though.
Christmas will be with my parents so jeans is totally appropriate.
I got a mustard cardigan at Target that I'll probably where for Thanksgiving. I have a Navy lace dress I wore to DSs baptism I plan on recycling sometime over Christmas. So jeans and a sweater for the most part.

Thanksgiving is casual, so probably jeans and a sweater.
For Christmas, I have a crème sweater dress I'll probably wear to church, but casual the rest of the day. I want to get Christmas pjs, but haven't really looked for them yet.
