Are you leading/participating or just listening? Are there bathroom breaks? (I'm a toddler, so the thought of 3 hours without being able to get up and go to the washroom would make me antsy)

This sounds awful, so I will try to amuse you.
Did I tell y'all that we have a foster dog?
He roamed our neighborhood for about a week, eluding animal control. My neighborhood listserve, which is very active, basically blew up, with people organizing feeding/trapping stations, reporting sightings, etc. A broken leg slowed him down and allowed animal control to catch him. His week at the shelter passed quickly, and we wasn't considered adoptable enough to keep longer (adult pit bull mix with a broken leg); a rescue group was willing to pay for his care, but needed a foster home. The listserve blew up again, and we're suckers. He been here six days.
On Saturday, he chewed up the plastic crate he was in; we bought a metal one that evening. On Monday, he somehow got out of the metal crate and got his cast off in one piece. Yesterday, he got out of the metal crate in some different way (he actually opened the latches), (later) escaped the yard, and roamed the neighborhood for half an hour before showing up again.
The working theory is that neutering him will likely "fix" (haha) this roaming instinct, but the vet won't neuter him until his cast is off. That's in FOUR MORE WEEKS. This damn dog is already bringing on the gray hair.
Good thing he's damn cute, and the sweetest fella ever.
