I know, I know. Losing weight isn't the main reason to do Whole30 but it is a HUGE incentive for me. I underestimated how effing hard this would be! I am on day 4 now and feel exhausted, blah and have a headache. Yesterday I went home from work because I was totally nauseous and had the sweats.
If I know there is a really good chance I'll lose weight, I can stick with this. But if there are people who didn't lose weight or inches, I may stuff my face with a bagel today, lol.

Well, I haven't so far on day 12, but I am specifically trying not to, and I'm eating a fair amount of potatoes, sweet potatoes and fruit (always post-workout plus usually one other time a day). Even so I've still lost some visible fat, by which I mean that I while haven't taken caliper measurements to compare today with 12 days ago, I look leaner to the extent that people have commented on it.
I lost 12 pounds and found it to be really easy. What kinds of foods are you making? Don't punish yourself by eating blah foods. There are lots of blogs with truly delicious and satisfying recipes. I don't think I ever really felt bad during the plan. Just occasionally hungry between meals.

I mostly eat Monkey Salad for breakfast because the sight of eggs makes me want to gag right now. Lunches are salads (which I normally eat). Dinners have been hard because I haven't been feeling great so nothing sounds good. As I mentioned in my other post, it made crockpot chicken tacos (which I eat all the time). I think the fact that I feel so yuck right now makes it harder.
I went in convinced I wouldn't, because nothing else had worked for me. It truly took about 2 1/2 weeks, and then one day I woke up, looked in the mirror, and thought "Holy shit." It was like my body changed overnight.
I'm not sure what day you are on, but if it's early, don't give up yet. I want to say it was about Day 18 for me before I saw a difference.
