I'm sick of Stacey Dash. I mean - sat your ass down somewhere. I'm also tired of the "It's Your Own Fault" rhetoric. Folks didn't ask to be born in a system that essentially keeps your ass exactly where you are. So, I just can't with this attitude. We don't want to tackle real issues, we just want to blame folks. And I'm TIRED of that shit. Very tired of it.

Oh, Stacey Dash has a mic- instant ridiculousness follows. If you want to be a Republican fine, you don't have to be dismissive and condescending and elitist. And when you get that way don't cry that people don't like your because you are a Republican when in fact they don't like you because you are an ass.
I think it really just seeds into racist people that even "one of their own" is saying this shit, so they must be justified in agreeing with her bullshit. And because she is saying it, their racists beliefs are no longer racist, but just right.
I can't even with her.
that's totally what it does.
you would NOT BELIEVE how all of my racist, white trash Officer Wilson supporting family members are suddenly linking all the black people they can find talking about how the blacks in Ferguson need to stop acting like fools.
like they suddenly care about black opinion now. they only want justification for their racist bullshit. any explanation of internalized racism would fly over their simple heads
And you have just explained the popularity of Ben Carson.
I think it really just seeds into racist people that even "one of their own" is saying this shit, so they must be justified in agreeing with her bullshit. And because she is saying it, their racists beliefs are no longer racist, but just right.
yep.
And what makes me seethe is that it doesn't work in reverse. When white people say, "This is a racist fecking country with a racist system institutionalized," it's one of their ownsaying it, but that mysteriously doesn't matter and doesn't make white people evaluate themselves. Black people, however, are supposed to be evaluating their own when other black people say it, though.

I had to look this woman up. I don't care what color skin you have or who you are referring to. Have a little common decency for your fellow human being. Someone please take away her soapbox so she can fade back into oblivion.
