Throw away the St. Ives! Seriously, it does terrible things to your skin, and can actually lead to overproduction of oil because it's so harsh.
FWIW, my skin got 100 times better once I switched to Cetaphil cleanser and Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizer. For exfoliating I use a Clarisonic, but Philosophy's microdermabrasion products also worked well for me.

I have actually been using cetaphil exclusively for years, and just started using St Ives twice a week for the last 6 months or so. I like how it makes my face feel! I haven't noticed it making my face oilier.
I use Neutrogena oil-free and like it slightly better than the Olay that I had been using for years.
Ditto PP on ditching the St.Ives scrub - that stuff is really rough on skin, especially face. I'm also curious that you say you wash with that- do you not use a cleanser or m/u remover? To me, a scrub (used weekly) does not equal a cleanser (used daily).

Sorry I clarified above. I use Cetaphil dauly, and the St Ives. I just started using St Ives late last year as I needed a scrub and I have friends who rave about it.
Thanks for the recommendation but I definite notice more oily skin when I use Dh's neutrogenic.
I love Kiehl's rare earth line for my oily/sensitive skin--it's got a scrub that feels like it's working as well as St. Ives, but is much gentler. There's no moisturizer, but I use the pore minimizing lotion during the day as a primer and it's awesome.
