I voted a few weeks ago. They snuck in a school council vote I didn't know about. I was so bummed because that's the vote MOST likely to affect my family, and I ended up picking nothing. I'm thankful H will better represent our household today.
I just put my absentee ballot in the mail! I had to resist the urge to jog back to our house chanting, "U.S.A.! U.S.A.!" and pumping my fists over and over.
I'm going once H gets home. There's not really many competitive races here though. I wish the governor was running because I hate that asshole and I wish I could vote against him. Again.
I forgot to register for my ballot by Oct. 4 so no, I didn't vote. As an overseas American I feel like nobody really represents my interests. BRB, gonna go throw some tea in the harbor.
Not yet, still one item I'm trying to figure out before I drop off my ballot (26-160 in the Portland Metro area if anyone wants to try to sway me). I want to get my mom's and dad's opinion on it, but my 99-year-old grandma is in the hospital, so I don't know if they will have a chance to talk with me about politics today.
I would vote no on 26-160. Frankly, this feels like a law about "others" and restricting access to affordable housing in McMansion neighborhoods and good school districts.

Yes. I dragged my kids and then the lady with the stickers refused to give them stickers because "they were reserved for people who vote" they are 4. Give them a damn sticker. Lucky for me, there was an elder couple behind us who gave them their stickers because "they had many voted stickers in their lives and wanted to share the joy". Confidence in people restored.

Yep, went and dropped off my ballot (because I want the sticker and they don't give you a sticker unless you drop off in person) about 2 hours ago. I love vote-by-mail.

This is how I'm leaning. My concern is whether it's only about urban and suburban areas (I'd like them to be able to increase the density there, as appropriate), or whether it allows them to zone for higher density outside the urban growth boundary (farm land -> McMansions).

As far as I know, the urban growth boundary is still in effect unchanged. Voting no doesn't mean that Metro will even change anything- it just means they are no longer prohibited. I think it only effects planning for single home neighborhoods, and doesn't increase density in farmlands. I'll admit to not being an expert on this because I work in Portland, but don't live there anymore and I am not voting on this.
