Yep. But sadly, there were not many people at the polling place, and those that were were all white with an average age of about 75. Looks like the usual midterm problem of turning out youth and minority voters is happening here, at least
I sort of feel bad about my local elections. There were three levies: school, parks, AND library. I voted and now I'm GTFOing by moving to a different city in a few months.

I think we were the youngest people in there!
Lol-Verizon was doing work cutting down broken branches tangled in power lines and they had part of the street blocked off right before the street you go down to get to the polling place.
An older man went to the police officer overseeing the voting and started complaining that it was a conspiracy to keep people from voting. Omg
Yes. I was the only voter there, and the polling place is directly acros the street from the elementary school. I really figured there would be a line since so many parents are dropping their kids off right there.

Yes, we voted, dropped DD off at school aged childcare (no school today), and did her parent-teacher conference in less than 40 minutes this morning. Bam.
(All of these things happened at DD's school, thankfully)
Sure 'nuff! I think I was #52 at my polling location - there was a woman #'ing the ballots when I checked in. DS 'voted' for the 2nd time today. He's at the point where stickers are AMAZING.
