First training class was fabulous!

I'm so flipping excited! I took pup to her first training session today. The trainer trained police dogs and shows dogs in personal protection. Pup is about 15 weeks, and we wanted to get a good start with her.

She did great! We learned heel, and she was such a trooper. I'm so proud of her. Our trainer was impressed with how well she picked things up, and I just couldn't be happier. We have homework this week, but for now she is passed out next to me on the couch passing gas.

As a side note, when we got her we were told that she is a rotti-shepherd mix. The trainer thought she was a pure German shepherd. It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things since she was a shelter dog and there's no papers, but I always wanted a pure German shepherd so it did make me smile.
