Ha, I think I am officially off the Whole30 wagon and just doing (mostly) paleo at this point, but let's call it day 18. I had a piece of chocolate post-workout this morning. The past few days I have just felt a physical need for something sweet after my workouts - and I'm eating enough protein and sweet potato (usually, sometimes potato or yuca) right afterward. It's not a mental "mmm, I want this dessert" feeling, so I'm pretty beat today and have a competition on Sat I decided to listen to my body.
Day 10 for me. I've been exhausted for the last 2 days, my eye was twitching all day yesterday!! Feeling better today since I got to sleep in.
Another all day business meeting so lunch will be tricky. I'll bring a backup snack to help me through if they don't have any food I can eat. Yesterday they brought in panera...
My meal plan is derailed today. I 1) forgot to put it in the crockpot this morning (doh!), and 2) won't be home until late tonight. At least we now have back-up leftovers.
I also cannot stress eating enough. Because you're eating "better" you're going to have to consume larger portion sizes and/or more food than you're used to. If you're used to skipping fats, you're going to have to add them back in. It's a learning curve.

Day 10 for me. I think I'm on emilyinchile's bandwagon. After getting dizzy on Saturday, I'm adding in a bit of good carbs back in to my diet. So, gonna shoot for the last 20 days as no sugar, no dairy, minimal carbs.
They brought it Qdoba from work lunch. No pork so I had a salad with salsa and quac, I also had nuts, carrots and almond butter, and likely will eat a banana in a bit.

What carbs have you been eating so far? I know I said my body wanted just straight sugar, but I'm not sure that's an issue with my overall quantity of carbs rather than a specific post-workout need. I'm about to turn into a sweet potato I've eaten so many, could you be skimping on those starchier veggies?
I mean, clearly I am not here to pressure anyone into staying on this, but if you do want to keep it up, there may be tweaks that will help you.

I've been eating potatoes, squash, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, peppers, tomatoes.

Hmm, the first two are obviously carb-ier...maybe you just need more? Sweet potatoes? Fruit? Haha, I don't really know. Enjoy your whole wheat bread
